4/20 Joint Action Cleanup
The Joint Action initiative didn't just mark the national Cannabis holiday on 4/20. We kicked it off with a bang by diving into community service! Teaming up with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, Project Clean Stream , we embarked on a College Creek Clean Up in Annapolis, Maryland. Bright and early on Saturday morning, we gathered by the College Creek bridge, just down the street from the State House. Geared up with gloves and black trash bags, we set out to tackle the trash and debris threatening our beloved waterways.
Together, we filled over 25 big trash bags, totaling more than 300 pounds of garbage!
Amidst the backdrop of community spirit and environmental activism, our mission was clear: not only to clean up our local ecosystem but also to challenge the stigma against cannabis users. Our hearts swell with gratitude for the incredible volunteers whose dedication and energy made this event a great success. Together, we filled over 25 big trash bags, totaling more than 300 pounds of garbage! From plastic bottles to papers and metal scraps, we even stumbled upon a headless baby doll—a quirky reminder of the diverse array of debris polluting our waterways.
A big thank you to our sponsors: Mana Dispensary, Bread & Butter Kitchen, and ASAP Cannabis Marketing.
