50 Trees Saved through Joint Action!
We are thrilled to share the recap of our first-ever Joint Action Event. It was a day filled with community spirit, environmental activism, and a profound mission to kick the stigma against cannabis users while making a positive impact on our local environment.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all the incredible volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to make this event a resounding success. Together, we tackled the invasive ivy at Truxton Park in Annapolis, and the results were nothing short of astonishing. Led by Jesse (and his son) from Severn River Association, we saved a remarkable 50 trees! These trees are more than just greenery; in addition to filtering the water headed into the Severn River, they are also home to entire ecosystems that depend on them for survival.
We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to our sponsors, whose support was instrumental in making this event possible. A round of applause to Mana Supply Dispensary for their unwavering support, Paulette’s Crab Fry for filling our bellies with their jerk BBQ, Cesar Carabantes for capturing the memorable moments in this great wrap up video, ASAP Cannabis Marketing for printing our fabulous sweatshirts, and Tiffany from OliveMoon Botanicals for helping to orchestrate the entire event seamlessly.
For those eager to join us in future endeavors, mark your calendars for April 20th! We'll be celebrating both 4/20 and Earth day with a creek cleanup! Sign up now for the event.
