Joint Action Planting Trees (not that kind!)

Joint Action Planting Trees (not that kind!)

The Joint Action Volunteers, consisting of several Curaleaf staff, met early last Saturday morning in Thurmont, Maryland ready to plant some trees. The weather was killer with the sun shining,  a gentle breeze blowing, and a perfect 75-degree temperature. Mother Nature was high-fiving us for being there!

Kylie from StreamLink Education showed us how to plant the baby trees. She dropped some knowledge about how even in Northwestern Maryland, planting these trees will help stop erosion and filter the streams and rivers that lead into the Chesapeake Bay!

Spending the morning out in the sun, meeting dope new friends, and helping to reforest Maryland? That's the ultimate high. Let's get planting!
